Default Running wires to trunk help

Hello, does anyone have instruction and pictures of how to remove the carpet of the lexus sc430? I saw one thread about removing it, but the picture have been deleted so it is very confusing. But if anyone know how to remove the carpet inside the cockpit please tell me picture would help alot. I am trying to run a wire from the center console to the back of the trunk. Also, does anyone know where there is a spot in the cockpit that would not require me to drill a hole to the back trunk?

I'm not the expert here (paging Habious, paging Habious), but I recall the easier path is forward then across the front and down under the door sill then into the back seat cavity after popping out the seat.

I'd be very leery of taking out the carpet especially when there is already a path which does not cause any risk.

You should be able to run a wire or wires from the front of the car by either placing wires under door threshold and snaking wires along there and back. When you get to the back you can simply pull the bottom of the rear seat up and then tilt it and remove it. Then you can snake a wire or wires right through any day light opening you can see to get into the trunk area. I pulled my floor boards up in the trunk area . Removing the tire tools tray and then removing the floor boards. Very simple . Most of the hold downs are pop out type fastners. Slotted so you can put a screw driver through the side and pop up the fasteners. The car really goes together like leggo toys . I have a rear mounted 8 disk dvd changer in the well where the spare should be . Its hidden under the hard tire tool cover board. I cut an access door in the board to just allow for me to remove the cartridge to change out the dvd or cd. The small rug cover does not have a hole cut in it so when you look in the trunk unless you lift up the rug you would never know its there. Its wired so i can remote control it VIA infrared remote control. Dont be afraid to remove the trunk panels they really just come apart as you would expect once you get a look at them

Remove the rear seat and run the wire into the back of the trunk then up under the carpet to the center console. I have done the same thing to add an extra 12V feed that is "Hot" all the time.

Speaker install instructions tell you how to take out the back seat:
