Thanks scdrop. It looks very nice but I'm sure how it would look and feel in person. But man, 25.99 plus shipping, that's one expensive coat hanger.

Looking at the mounting method I'm not convinced it would work with the SC headrests.

a very good point Bon. the sc headrest doesn't go up and have the space for the hanger to wrap around. Any alternative???

My headrests go up! You guys didn't get the "headrest option" LOL???

You have to put your hand in between the headrest and the top of the seat, I believe the release button is on the left pole of the headrest sliders (if you are sitting down facing front). Leaning over in the car it's the right side. I have never messed with them until I got my PB and they were all the way up and tilted too-didn't know they tilted.

I will look at mine tomorrow. I don't see why any of these aftermarket hangers wouldn't work as long as 2" or 3" of the headrest poles are available to mount them to??

There is a back portion of the headrest that remains stationary. There is a hole through but I still don't think the hanger mount would extend all the way through the hole to the headrest posts.

Yeah, you are right. The hard plastic piece behind the HR with the lexus logo would get in the way, wouldn't it? Unless it could go around? You might have to play with it and just order to see. Not a bad price compared to others I've seen. Like I said the Infiniti one OEM is like $100+. I thought about it because my hook on my FX isn't wide enough to fit my suit hangars and my jacket falls off the hook when I turn corners.

Even if it would fit and I'd bear the expense, it really doesn't do what I'd like to see. I need a hook to hang my dry cleaning on when I pick it up. That doesn't do the job for me.

With the top up I suppose b/c very narrow trunk space avai when the top is down. I want to have my sport coat on the hanger with the top down. Not sure if that's a good idea? it might come off the hanger since the wind is blowing in all directions.

it looks like many of them will fit our cars because they are adjustable. Just choose a seller and product with great reviews.

Reviving this old thread. Anyone tried any of the suggested coat hangers? Or find another one the works with the SC430, since the seats have the plastic back plate?
