Just go to Lexus dealer and buy a can of touchup paint for @ 12 bucks. Just give them the color code of your car and you'll get the exactly color of the touchup paint. Works well as least for me.

So true! Back when I traded my `02 for an `04, I solved the chipping problem by immediately having a clear bra installed. Also, I found that even though the touch-up paint would somewhat hide the blemish the slight indentation of the chip still remained.

I was going to suggest a 3m type solution - perhaps the OP's front end is already too far gone.

You will have to put several coats of the touch up paint on the chip indentation to bring it up to be level with the original paint and then use rubbing compound or something to smooth out the edges. (Or something like that. Some of you folks with painting experience, please chime in here.)

Goes by various names, the concept is all the same. Pros do a good job a chip repair without having to repaint a panel. The products do well if you display patience. I always recommend a clear bra.
