Default Reverse LED replacements

just purchased a set of License Plate Leds aswell as a set of Reverse LEDs from V-leds.com for my SC430. installing the License Plates Leds was Ez as hell but i cant say the same for the reverse lights. Can any1 help me out? i need a diagram of how to remove the reverse lights, tried to look up a thread on this but had no luck what so ever finding one. look forwrd to anyones response. thanks in advance.

You need to remove the whole light unit out. There are 2-3 screws in the back. They are 10mm. GL

Actually, it is even easier to change out the reverse light bulbs, just look under the rear bumper.
Simply twist and pull the light socket out.

BTW, I use these as my reverse light.

Question

hey by the way, anyone know how come theirs no choice on the model scroll down of the garage page for a Ponitac "Firebird"? reason im asking is cause i was trying to update my garage info but had no sucess; reason being i couldnt choose the correct model for my ponitac.

no error messages after swap-ing out the bulbs?

No error light on the dash.

when it comes to led light, i always buy the brightest i can find in the market.
although they cost more (maybe a lot more sometimes), yet lots of led light bulbs out there actually perform way worse than your stock filament bulbs.

as far as i can tell, the output of my led reverse light look only close to that of stock bulbs even with 40 smd led. I hate the yellowish light from stock bulbs, so I can live with a little less output.

yup, they are bright at night.
But again, Led mods are not for everyone.
Do your homework to do it right.
