Did the talking for my uncle for a new 430 who just moved to the US. Sticker was 67270 and I got $62500 OTD and I was a returning customer of his. The salesman showed me a receipt they lost $2835 off invoice!

Just enjoy the car. You don't want to know the answer to your question.

the actual invoice is $56,945.00. the price he claimed is invoice was the MSRP. you probably could have talked them down. but oh well.

But that price he got was out the door, which means tax included. Assuming tax was 8.25% and invoice as 57,000, it would have come out to ~$61,700. Don't know how much license/title costs... but you paid the dealer a few hundred bucks. It's still a good deal .

When I was in the market I was given a quote a few grand lower than that.

I got my SC 430 on May 21, 2008. MSRP $67,270. OTD it cost me $60,500. I was thrilled with the price because it was less than I thought this beautiful car would cost me.

Everything has to do with one's perspective. The SC is a perfect fit for me. It is worth every penny I paid for it. I trust that your uncle will feel the same.

I wish him pleasure and pride in his SC.

Was it out the door? Including tax, license/title?

Mesca,

You did good, even though not as good as you thought.

Your salesman lied, which is expected, lying is necessary to do their job.

Your uncle pay exactly invoice, or few hundreds to one thousand over invoice, which is decent.

Yes, we were looking at a brand new 06 at the time. The new 07's were coming out and this dealer was willing to let the car go at below invoice. Our out the door price was in the high 50's. The only reason I didn’t pick it up was that my bid on ebay was accepted, and I picked up this one for $30K less.

Yeah these are the best deals, barely driven, huge reduction in price

I saw a 08' with 1500 miles on it going for $50k a few months ago.
