Default Hard top won't open

It's just worked once and won't open again.

A response from that person may not happen because you are responding to a thread that is seven years old.

It may be possible that the switch, in the trunk of the car, where you place the slide out cargo cover is not operating properly.
Reseat the slide out cargo cover a couple of times and try the top again.
Make sure the trunk lid is closed all the way.

+1 sometimes something in the trunk will bump the cover and move it just enough to disconnect the sensor switch. My spare tire cover when jostled just right will lean on the cover and disconnect the switch. So make sure that nothing is leaning against the cover.
