every time i start up the car the ac is always set to recycle is there any way to make it always go to fresh air setting on start up. thx in advance

There's a C-BEST setting for this. By default, it's set to "automatically change air inlet to RECIRCULATE when A/C is turned on". The other setting is MANUAL - will not change air inlet when A/C is turned on.

Time for a trip to the dealer.

 

I checked this out with the dealer. The fresh air is to prevent mold in the ducts. I decided not to change this setting, it might be better to keep it the way it is....
