Can anyone tell me if the AFS on my right front headlight should turn half as many degrees in a right turn as my left one does in a left turn?
I also have a TPM light on my dash that turns on when the outside temperature drops below 60 degrees. All tires have the same 30 lbs of pressure in them. The light goes off if I drive ten miles at freeway speeds. Any ideas?
the passenger side will turn up to 5 degrees and driver side 15 degrees
when measuring 30psi, is that when the car is absolutely cold, like in the morning in the garage before you drive off the car? is your guage accurate? sounds like an issue here. seems like you are right at borderline, in the morning it's just under limit so light is on, after some driving air in tires heat up and light goes off
Thanks for the info and the link. Like duh, I guess I could have looked it up myself. At least I won't make a fool of myself at the dealer now.
As for the TPM, all four tires cold measure exactly the same 30 lbs of pressure first thing in the morning. The system is pretty much worthless since you have no way of knowing which tire is low without checking all four. The first time this happened the car had been parked in a parking lot overnight at a casino where it snowed during the night.
Today when I drove it more than 25 miles at high speed the light did not turn off. I guess I will lay this problem on the dealer.
Before you run to the dealer.... My SC recommends 33 psi for the front and rear tires. I had the same situation first cold morning here in NJ. I checked all the tires and they were the same psi but a little low with the cold weather. After adding air on all to 33 psi, the light has not come on. Hope this works for you.

Thanks I will up the pressure to 33 and see if that takes care of the problem.
