hello, I saw wheel spacers on ebay. Can some post pics of the spacers with OEM 18" wheels? will putting these spacers on decrease strenght of the axels or make the car feel non-stock? I'm not familiar with them so info on them would be cool..... thank you
There are many discussions on the topic of spacers.
All you need to do is search (hint: GS forum).
As for the pics, I guess I can post something new for you.
SC430 stock wheels on 15mm spacers in the front and 30mm in the rear.

WILL A 30MM SPACER FOR THE REAR AND A 20MM SPACER FOR THE FRONT WORK WITH NO FENDER MODIFICATIONSOriginally Posted by dsimo
25mm front and rear. Replacing my wheels tomorrow so if you're interested in the spacers let me know.
No fender mods required as long as they are stock wheels.
Make sure the spacers are hub centric.
For 20mm/30mm setup, I will only recommend Kics spacers with Kics hub centric rings.

I noticed your pic shows you ran 25m spacers all around.... but you say 20/30 is best. Why do you think 25 is to much in the front? Thanks!Originally Posted by dsimo
IMO, 20 and 30 are the ideal offsets.

I was just about to post this when i thought i would make sure it hadn't been asked already:
Hopefully I'm not starting a thread that is ongoing ongoing elsewhere. I finally found some G spider rims for my car and am having them powder coated. When they come back I will install them but would like to have spacers on them.I'd prefer to do this all at the same time.
For those of you who have put spacers on your SC's, could you submit a pic or two along with what size of spacer you are using?
Can we get some recent pics, this thread didn't seem to get a lot of responses.

I'm curious, why only 20 in the front, but 30 in the back? Do the fronts and rears not sit the same distance from the fender?
Ideally, I would like both to be flush.
I would also like to see more pics of everyones setup.

I installed 25/30 on my 2002 using 2007 OEM Rims. I have photos on my home computer if it is important. Originally Posted by rclab1

Now the OEM wheels look like they should have from the factory.
When I did this it seemed like the car handled better but honestly that could have just been in my head.
In theory, it should help but with a car that really isn't designed for a SCCA ProSolo I don't know if you could ever really prove it.

I'm sold on the 30mm on the rear, but I'm still uncertain on the size for the front. Somewhere between 20 and 30 is where my head is at, still trying to decide.
