Twice in two weeks my windshield has cracked (unprovoked). Lexus replaced the first winshield then two weeks later it happened again. Both times it was a hot day, but the car was parked in a garage and was not in the sun.
Not sure if it is politically correct to reference other forums here. But in order to provide fellow posters with the most info, I will. I have a crack on my windshield that's halfway across the glass. I think it started with a small rock chip in the corner then the crack developed after I parked it outside for 8 hours during the day. It was about 75 degrees outside...not that hot. Anyways, insurance is covering it...just gotta schedule an appointment. I highly recommend glass coverage on this car.
