Default Windshield assistance

Hi guys, just signed up to the forum for my fathers benefit.

His SC430 got a cracked windshield about a month ago and he took it in to get it fixed.

My father then went out of town for a week. Once he got back into town he checked on the windshield to see how they did on the repair. Realizing it wasn't dont properly he mentioned to his wife he wanted it taken back because they stuffed it up.

That night he had a stroke and so since then nothing has been done with his pride and joy. I took on the task to get it fixed for him seen as he is getting better by the day but I don't know exactly what it is supposed to look like.

Can someone please post some pics asap of the top of the windshield and how it joins onto the top support where the roof joins in.

The people at the windshield repair place are playing dumb so I need proof of a original windshield so that they have to fix it exactly to its original state.

thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your dad. It's dark out here now, but I will take pics tomorrow if no one else has.

Hope he gets better.

It is dark and my car is dirty.
You can wait for TLW's photos if mine don't show what you want to see.

There is a groove between them.
I just cleaned about 3" of the groove , so you you can tell.

awesome so they did do it right, they just did a really bad job of it.

cool, thanks a lot Ill tell my father about this site once he gets better. No doubt he will love to see the mods etc as here in NZ anyone he's asked to lower the suspension or chip the car has freaked out and refused to do the work in case they break something.
