Default Way through the firewall

Does anybody know the best way to get wires from the front of the car into the cabin? Or the best spot to drill a new hole in the firewall? Location of the wires in the cabin is not critical, either passenger or drivers side of the dash will do.

Thanks
BT

BT, if it's anything close to the GS, then you should have space on the passenger side, once you take out the battery should have space underneath. it's going to be hard on the other side (from the cabin) coz' the wire will have to go down right the way after entering through the firewall

There are two rubber grommets in the firewall that allow access. I'll try to photograph them for you. The one on the drivers side was the easiest for me to get to. The wires dropped down right behind the brake pedal.

The black rubber grommet on the driver side is quite visible (2" inches in diameter, i think), so you shouldn't miss it.
That is where I run my EDFC cables through.

Yeah I saw that grommet to the left of where the harness goes into the car on the drivers side. I pulled it off and it looks like foam insulation behind it. So all I would need to do is push through that foam and I'm in?
