Default Is there a hole in drivers firewall?

Guys,

This question has been asked with mixed answers.

Is there a hole you can run wires through on the passenger firewall from the engine bay through to the passenger footwell?

I know there is in the GS - but not sure if there is in the SC.

So who 100% KNOWS for sure?

Jonny

yes, there is a hole you can access from the engine bay that is on the driver's side firewall which can be used to run your power wire. i do not know about the passenger side.

The best place to run wires is under the pass side carpet. There are several gromets.

This location is good because you can easily run the wire up your fender lining and it will come out through the hole to the left of the brake master cylinder.

i'm trying to remember off the top of my head but i believe you can use a one holes that have an existing wire going thru the driver side firewall underneath or close to the brake reservoir, close to the fender. best way is to rip a small hole then feed an unbent metal hanger through the hole. angle the hanger downwards when feeding it thru the firewall. be sure to remove the carpeting and padding for a clean pass. once the hanger passes through the firewall and other obstacles, tape your wire firmly onto the back end of the hanger then thread the wire through the firewall viola! you're done. the wire will be protected from the metal edges with the existing grommet but you might want to put on a shroud for the rest of the exposed wire.
