and realized it was the CD jammed in the player. If you look in there, you will see the CD trying to come out, put a credit card, your finger, tweezers, or bump the cd with another CD to try to get the jammed CD to come out. No need to go to the dealer. I've done this three times.
I think you have to put the CD on the number 1 - 6 you are trying to get out and hit the eject button and it will probably give you the code Error 3 while it's attempted to come out. Just look inside the CD opening with a flashlight (if it's dark) and you'll see what I'm talking about. Good luck
chillwa thanks so much for the repair tip. I actually did exactly what you said and it worked. Now I have to find out if the CD that a cousin made for my wife is actually the right CD for a car system. I swear it looks thicker than a store bought CB??? If so, thats why it got stuck it didn't have a paper label, which was my first guess.
Sometimes when I get a jam on ejection, I find that pushing the load button, -- wait two seconds -- and then press the eject button again will often cause the player to spit the CD right out.
