93ls CD player dead
My 93ls Cd player shows no error code. Will not come on, no power light at the Cd changer, nor can I open the changer door with the button or via the release pin hole. The radio works fine but the cassette player does not work either.
I've checked the fuses all are ok, but is there a specific one just for the Cd? Any advise welcome. Thanks

Have you checked your owners manual? on my SC, the CD changer shares a fuse with the radio.
But have you checked to see the connection from under the CD player? maybe it came off, or was discounnected at somepoint?

Thanks for the reply. I'll start tracing the wires. The CD player did work for the first 9 months that I owned the car. I am not sure if the cassette player ever worked. Did not discover that until I tried to play an I- Pod through the cassette
Those things are junk and break all the time. Nakamichi 93 LS here. I went through 2 CD changers and they fail one way or another. I'm running an Ipod through the factory cassette deck. Oh well.
