Ignition Start Button
Hey guys anyone know if we can install a similar device whic is on the IS (engine start button) and if so how? lee you got any ideas? dont really want to go for a universal one, rather get a lexus product
That does sound appealing, however the cost will be up there. It all depends on if the ignition starting system is integrated into the main ECU or a stand alone setup. A wiring diagram of an IS would be needed to proceed further.

a button that u push to start the car is cheap rice boys got them for like $20 bucks, u just wire it into the ignition. In fact I have a friend who has his push button starter hooked directly to his ignition to where he doesnt even need to put in his key LOL.
True, but I would want something a bit more elaborate the same as the factory system which has the Lexus keys ,security and all. Something to look into in the future. Lee
SC430uk,
I guess anything can be had for the right amount. We will see.

Im currently looking into doing it for my SC300. I just put in a 96 5speed transmission setup from a Supra and I realized I was going to have to use a push start to trigger my starter in order to bypass the Neutral start. I was wondering if there are any other Lexus vehicles that came with this push start feature besides the IS? Im looking for some Lexus buttons.
