There is red spray paint offered on eBay to change the lens color... I have no experience with it. There are usually several sellers and they may offer different size spray cans and prices.

PS using red lens in the front may not be legal, think emergency use only and a potential ticket... check your local law to be sure.

20 X 8.5 +20

20 X 10 + 25

Thanks for bearing with me lol.

Cool all stock except wheels

....stock suspension; no rubbing. Firm, yet very smooth ride.. just what you would expect from a LEXUS> I had considered lowering it, but it looks pretty tight as is... I may consider a subtle body kit (at least the front spoiler) though.

I could use some help. I am new to the after market rim and tire game.
I have found a used set of 20" Stern ST-2 Touring Sport Chrome wheels; 20 x 8.5" (front) and 20 x 9.5" (rear) with a 5 x 4.5... 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Offset is 35mm front and rear. The tires are Falken FK452, 245/35/20 (front) and 275/30/20 (rear) and are like new.
I have a stock suspension.
Would these rims and tires work on my 04 SC430? Would the 35mm offset be OK? Would they line up flush? Are the tires to large for the fenders? Would they rub?

Thanks for your help.

With 20x8.5 + 35 and 20x9.5 +35 you're sitting fairly conservative (won't line up completely flush). The wheels should not hit the fenders if you're on stock suspension. However there maybe a little bit of rubbing when you do full left / right turns, but that shouldn't be harmful. The tires however, I'm not too sure as I'm running 245/45 and 275/40 and they only rub when I do full turns and I'm also lowered.

There's a link to my setup, I've listed my specs on the thread as well. Hopefully those comparisons should help you.

Good luck and when you get the new wheels, ENJOY!

RominL could you explain what "Within spec?" means for tire size. I bought some vossen 9 and 10.5 wheels for my sc 430 and I am trying to figure out which tire would be best. Thinking about Falken or Pirelli but not sure which tire to pick?

man, you need some body work done on the fenders and probably even on the bumpers.
Fender pulling + stretched tires won't be enough to make them fit.
Those specs are like adding 44mm spacers in the front and 41mm spacers in the rear to my current setup.
If you can make them fit, your car would look really awesome.

I've found a sc that has similar setup, but yours is still more aggressive than this one by 7mm in the front and 4mm in the rear.

i finished up the guide and posted it up, hopefully it can help members. it will be integrated with my old guideline soon
I live in Chicago and want to keep my stock wheels from corosion. Thinking of going with a used set of Enkei rims with Brigestone Blizzak 225/55r/17 winter tires. overakk radius is larger then stock. Any problem with fit and will this have any effect on speedometer? I've got a 2007 and plan on disconnecting the TPM.

Thanks

Fred

Verry Sweet. Nice balance between the tire profile & the offset. The tires look like they max out the OEM wheels. What are the tire specs & the spacer configuration? Which brands did you go with? How much do you plan to lower--that's really going to be awesome!

Wow your comment came out of nowhere, but it feels nice to know someone appreciate what I am doing

The pics you saw of my car was with stock tire size 245/40/18, spacers sizes are 20mm in the front and 30mm in the rear, the spacers are project Kics.

I am still having a tough time deciding which springs I am going with, it will be either H&R or Tein S-tech, their lowering specs are:

H&R F&R -1.2"
S-Tech F -1.3" R -1.6"

i'm looking at new wheels to replace my deceased works. what do you guys think of this fitment? i'm a little worried about rubbing in the front. and i don't want to do any fender mods.

20x9 +14 (245/35/20) front

20x9.5 +17 (275/30/20) rear

That combo requires fender mods.
Running stretched tires in the front is your only option.
275 in the rear should be fine as long as you choose the right brand of tires.
