Default Super charger time

Steve at Luxury Motorworks engineered a really nice Supercharge kit for the SC430. I am looking for any feedback from fellow power enthusiasts !

The kit includes the ATI procharger C-2 fully intercooled with Jet Hot treated piping. They have also developed the i-Manage fuel controller. This is a fuel management unit developed by Luxury Motorworks. There is no need to reprogram the factory ECU. The i-Manage has the ability to sense load vacuum and boost. The i-Manage is completely digitally programmable by the end user. We have been able to tune the SC430 from a flat 9.5-1 to 12.5-1 under wide open throttle conditions.

A couple of nice features, is that it apparently fits under the hood and the front bumper (nose), keeping a complete stock look. Steve says it should increase HP from stock 300 HP to 400 + HP, also giving a lot more bottom end torque.

Has anyone done this kind of upgrade yet. I see a lot of suspension and handling upgrades but not a lot of serious power upgrades. Just wanted to go to the next level and bypass the air intake route.

Anybody think that this kind of upgrade would put too much stress on the factory parts ?

Thanks guys really appreciate this forum !

How much money? How many pounds of boost? 100HP gain seems like a lot. 40 to 60 seems more realistic, and shouldn't stress things too much. -Roger

Are you getting your info directly from Steve? If not, what is your source? Cost? Do you have it installed? I want! I want!

Default Steve has the details

Steve at Luxury Motorworks will give you a quote for an installed or a D.I.Y. program. If you are in Greater Los Angeles I would definately get Steve's shop to do it. Steve is getting a full Dyno which means he can install and measure the exact increase in Real HP ( To the pavement ). I live in BC Canada, and am going to make the trip to get Steve to install it. My timing will most likely be in the Fall. Any ways good luck and for those who would like more power, this looks like the best way to go, without getting a second mortgage on your house. Jaycen, his head technical advisor also is a weath of information !

Steve's web site is: www.luxurymotorworks.com

Cheers

I thought I posted the results in an earlier thread. Stock 220 rwhp 235 ft/lbs. SC 324 rwhp and 312 ft/lbs. 400 hp at the crank looks about right.

You other love it or hate it. Only mods so far are Daizen sways and a better air filter.

Yea, it's going to void your powertrain warranty, just a little bit.

How do you like the Daizen sways? Any issues with funny noises from the bushings?

it will void the warranty against tranny and engine for sure. if you do suspension it will wait that part of it as well. if you do audio it will void the audio part

Default Daizen sways

No noise as of yet. TM Engineering installed with big gobs of silcon inside the bushings.

How long have you had them? Is the silicon going to need to be re-applied periodically?
