Supercharged SC430 Owners
Hey I just wanted to if any SC430 owners had a supercharger and what kind. I'm thinking about going that route but the only S/C I found was for Luxury Motor Works. Is there any other company that make them for our engines?
I also wanted to know what issues are you having if any and how is the ride quality? I had a S/c GS300 and the car drove okay, but the steering was kind of heavy. I guesss for that matter the car was heavier. I would also like to know what mods you have in addition to the S/C.
I'm planning on installing a TC and a transmission cooler. That should help the longevity of the transmission.

SRT made mine as a one-off. The boost with the stock pulley was low and horsepower increase was nominal. I had better luck running nitrous for two years and didnt have to worry about the inspection headaches. The LMS has a single fuel injector while the SRT unit requires 8 larger replacement injectors controlled by a seperate fuel computer. The pistons and rods on the 3uz are weaker than the 400 and some LMS setups have blown the landings on the pistons. If I had to do over again I would stick with the nitrous setup. Less headache and I still had the relability of the lexus. Now that blew up my engine, I'm building it up right and following thru with the parts that I have.
Good luck,
Weny

I ran the Zex wet unit. It was a simple install. I think I have photos somewhere on the forum. The sc felt great and sounded great. Nothing like hearing the supercharger whine....
