Haven't done anything with it as of yet. I'll prolly eject it and wipe it off. Failing that I'll put the original, now nearly 20 year old disk back in.
Or, it's impedous to get off my rear and finish my raspberry pi head unit I started so long ago. I'd post a link but search here seems broken at present.
Doobs this happened to me a fair number of times while using a copied updated nav disc. I got rid of the copied disc, inserted the old one from I think a 2009 update and the problem went away. If you use your phone for Waze ( I do ), the edition of your DVD nav becomes irrelevant.

Yeah, some owners have complained of issues from the ones they've gotten off of eBay.
I ended up getting the OEM latest version I could get for my model year during the SEP '25 sale at Treasure Coast Lexus or Bell Lexus and paid $130.53.
It's listed at $163.16 at both Bell and TC, and $165.88 at Prestige Lexus in NJ right now. I always wait for sales on higher priced parts to save as much as I can.
I understand these maps are old and not updated for other owners that have recently revised roads, etc.
Thankfully, the last major changes to roads in my locale was done before the last version, so we're okay with the GPS map displayed.
Besides, we can always use our phones when traveling to areas not updated by map.
Just in case you need the OEM part number for your version of map, I'm including a guide below:

Bless your heart, but I'm not shelling out $170 for a disk of what is now a nearly 10 year old data.
Lexus SC430 mods (https://www.sc430mods.com) does a swap of the display with a full CarPlay/Android Auto screen with backup camera, but it's about $700 and you have to pull the screen out yourself (and install the backup camera). I've been thinking about going that route, so if you do, I'd love to hear how it goes.

I'll go the Garmon route before I do that.
Has anyone tried one of these? 2026 Enhanced Carplay Screen
Cheers
Do you mean Bless your heart in a good way or the TX and Southern way?! — Hahaha JK
I completely understand your reasoning, and if we opted not to get the Nav update from SC430Mods.com as @RhodeKille mentioned, we wouldn’t have bought the disk update.
We just decided to get it to have the latest version in the SC, and also because our roads haven’t changed much in that time. We could always use our phones if needed.
We did get the backup camera and Bluetooth adapter from SC430Mods so we’re good now.
We’ve had Garmin in the past, with no issues. Let us know what you decide and how it works out.

Plenty of satisfied customers have gotten the Nav Update from SC430Mods so if you decide to get it, you would most likely be another satisfied customer 👍
