Has anyone tried one of these?

2026 Enhanced Carplay Screen

For the price of these, I figured, why not?

Nice little unit, quick to boot up, easy to pair with my phone.

My wife's MDX doesn't have nav, so I put it in her car. There is a spot at the bottom of the front console where it fits very nicely. So far, so good.

I need to measure it to see if it will fit in the bezel of the nav screen on our cars.

If so, that will be my path to resolution.

Haven't driven the car a lot since the original occurrence. I ejected the disk and have it a quick wipe, although it didn't look dirty.

Cheers

The downside to the device mentioned earlier is it's too big to fit in the space where the nav screen is in our cars. And looking around, there are larger versions of this unit, but no smaller.

Since I wiped of the disk, the issue has not returned. Cross your fingers.

Chris,

Just wondering what year is your wife's MDX?

I ask because prior to my current Lexus SUV, I had three MDXs, a 2003, 2008, and a 2014 which I passed on to a kiddo.

ALL of my MDXs had Nav and I was surprised to read your wife's didn't as I thought they all came standard with Nav.

2016. And no, nav was not standard. I'm guessing it was included in the higher trim models, which her car is not.
