Trunk closed sensor
My 2005 SC has the red light on above the close top switch on the dash. The car thinks the trunk is open and the top will not open.
For a while we could slam the trunk down a couple of times and the light would go off.
Is there a sensor that notifies the car the trunk is closed so we are able to use the top or where do I look?

The trunk ajar light is in the gauge cluster. The warning light on the folding top switch is for top operation.
Inspect the cargo divider in the trunk, check for debris in the floor sockets where the cargo divider engages and the switch on the upper left side is activated.
