Default Air conditioner compressor

My air conditioner button will no start the compressor. Is there anyway to run the air conditioner compressor manually. Is there a way you could add another switch to turn on the compressor. .

Chances are the system is so low on refrigerant that it won't start.

I would have someone check it.

You should run a diagnostic and pull the codes. That'll give you a start as to what is actually wrong. I would NOT go splicing wires when you don't know what the initial cause is. Condition, Cause, Correction.

Did you know you can run a self diagnostic on the AC system?

condition=compressor does run
cause=bad climate control
correction=$$$$$

that’s why I asked my question. That is the only answer I’m looking for

I found the answer. All it takes is 2 inches of wire. Driving cool now. Will do the correct fix later just needed to get the wife cool.

Easy remove the AC relay and run a jumper between the 30 and 87 slot. This what the relay does
