I have a '02 UL w/ 90k. Lately, it seems that every time I stop the car, I hear the air compressor running for 5 to 15 seconds. At least, thats what it sounds like to me.

I have had the air suspension checked at the Lexus dealer and been told that the system is holding pressure. I am not so sure. My theory is that one of the struts is starting to leak and the compressor is running to compensate. Any thoughts or ideas are welcome.

 

On Russian club Lexus site there were people with a similar problem. Usually it's air compressor inside seals that go. Basically air compressor needs to be rebuild.
