My key to SC300 is missing a screw. I am looking for a replacement screw, but do not know the screw size. My worry is that the thread in which the screw goes into may be damaged which caused the screw to come loose.

Does anyone have an SC300/SC400 key available to use for a donor?

I should have a couple of extra ones from all the keys I've broken over the years. If you're near Orange County, then shoot me a pm.

 

Go down to your local Lexus dealership and special order part # 90151-20002. The screw will cost about $1.18.

 

Luxor, For some reason I did not even think of contacting the dealership for the screw. I even checked eyeglass repair kits to find a fit.

Blkexcoupe, Thank you for meeting up just to simply give me the missing screw. Most here probably know and understand the excitement of seeing another SC other than my own. Your car is a nice example of a nicely done SC with meticulous attention to keeping it clean and running it just right.
