Ok,... where's the electric fan and it's coolant reservoir?? ( i didn't see it in the pic's of the turbo and piping ).

Lextreme,... any validation of no loss of amenity? If so,... so much for Super charger!

I guess i just don't see it. Your siggy links to a twin turbo LS V-8 so it isn't news that it can be done. is it just the "SC" that makes it special? I always follow the news on the engine itself. seems this has been done for a while. seriously, tell me.... i don't follow this stuff much, that's why you see Leon in here most of the time.

That's not flame bait. Flame bait would be "I'm gonna make you tin can little 3 litre Honda drivers eat my dust, die die die".
Lextreme's point is it will go faster than a stock or BPU Supra. Do you doubt a turbo'd 1UZ could top 500rwhp? No need to jump to attention and defend an engine.

If you need examples of fast UZ engines... check out the HKS Supra, and the groundfighter. 1500hp and 2000hp respectively. That's pretty good considering hardly anyone develops the UZ compared to the JZ.

i wonder how would it work..
i guess he has both exahust piping going to the turbo..
thats one huge *** turbo mainifold.. hahah
GT42/45 is one huge turbo..
almost the size of a T66
i would figure the exhaust piping mainifold would be too long. the exhaust distance pressure to the exhaust size of the turbo will cause low hp.

Where is his wastegate?

Nazty, what electric fan and coolant? The V8 uses a hydraulic fan and hydraulic fluid. I would guess his fan is currently off as the car is in final assembly. Perhaps he's going with a new fan?

NRG, you ever seen a V8 single turbo before? By nature, the manifolds are big. Doesn't really make much difference, you're just showing your ignorance.

so is this your car?
I give that guy mad props.. but i find some stuff funny.

Anymore info on his car? it would help.
i wonder what kind of ems he will be running.. motech?

seems like he knows whats he's doing.. he does say he has a "1995 SC300 - 981 RWHP" in his sig..

and about the distance from the block to the turbo will make a small difference compair to a turbo closer to the exhaust output.. just a small difference.. but im sure this guy will make good whp
