It's been a minute I have been recently working on getting the OEM bumper painted and installed to get it out of my passenger side. Which I semi successfully managed to do. I was unable to get the front energy absorber to fit though.
Besides that before I head to bed, I have a question about replacing or entirely removing the paint that comes on on the 'quarter window'. Trust me I've tried to google and search the forums, nothings showed. There has to be other people who has had this fixed. One side is showing wear with the black paint wearing off revealing the chrome underneath, the passenger side is completely chrome.
So where would I start? I figured some sanding to take off the wearing paint/coat but what to put in its place? Have your left it in chrome? Let me know if you have had experience or just any general idea on what would be a reasonable option for handling this. It's a fairly small thing but its quit annoying :/

Some people have had it repainted to match the factory look, while others have vinyl wrapped it in black to completely cover the chrome. The factory look is better, IMO, but is more work.
