I installed HID's per some of the CL members posts, and I'm disappointed in the end result. (not any of the poster fault. I wanted the most light output) I started with LED's, but the one's I got from Amazon fell apart (the screw holding the locking mechanism came out). So did more reading and bought HID's.

The problem with my Opt-7 Bolt 55w is the assembly. They come with the ballast AND a separate igniter. So it's OEM wire to ballast to igniter to bulb. I've installed LED's in all my other cars, but they were not projector lens and I was happy with the results. To get them in a workable location, I modified the wiring. (Opt-7 has reverse polarity, so had to modify it anyway). I mounted the ballast on the shock pillar where I could get to it, and the igniter near the light housing.

I think you'll be OK with the LED's.

Appreciate the feedback! So you do recommend Opt-7 or should I go with another brand? I haven't ordered any yet but was going to this week.
