I will have to borrow a Dremel then. I have dealt with hyperblink for over seven years and it drove me nuts.

OP, did you try to use an aftermarket 3-prong LED flasher? I saw another thread of yours where someone mentioned to use one. Wondering if it worked or not? Im guessing not, based on this thread.

The three prong does not work for the 92-94 model cars.
I tried it...

the 92-94 is a 5 prong relay. I even tried a 5 prong relay. It didn't work, I think those are made for fords? I have a feeling, like most things on these cars, the oem flasher is a custom thing just for the SC's.

Default Turn Flasher

I went to replace my flasher and everything shows a 3 prong flasher for an SC300 but mine is a 5 prong? I need to get an electronic flasher to fix my hyper flash caused by switching to LEDs and I don't want to order the wrong one. Thanks for any help!

Let's start off by getting the post out of the engine & performance section to the right spot

Second, suggest searching for past threads for ideas - help yourself! There are 20 years worth of posts and likely already been asked and answered.

I searched for 'flash prong' and here are a couple of links to get started. You could also try searching for hyperflash and hyper flash

Default Thanks

I did a search and didn't have much luck. The first thread had a lot of links that no longer worked and the last one has the best fix that I'm about to try. When I started the thread the category just said maintenance and repairs, I didn't see anything about engines, so a little confusing. Now if I could find some help figuring out why my radio quit working while the car was parked I will be back in business, and I also did a search for that one with no luck as well.

I just did this mod and it worked great after taking it down to about 1/3 the original size, thanks!
