Default Disable tail lamp failure module?

Hey gang,
2003 UL
Currently fighting the good fight with LED aftermarket tails and resistors (I believe they sent me a bad set). Losing patience and wondering what alternative options there are in regards to disabling the tail lamp failure message all together.

Does anyone have a lead on where to start looking to pull the plug on this thing? I dont mind losing the warning as the LEDs will likely outlast the vehicle. Im tired of dealing with these enormous resistors that just seem to get hot and prevent nothing.

What im not interested in - is going back to stock. Maybe the clears are an option but I really like how the leds pop and grab the attention of drivers behind. I feel like the incandescent options are lackluster in this regard.

Thanks in advance for any lead you can generate for me on this topic.

I'd be interested in resolving this issue also. The first few years after changing to LED's there was no msg light but its steady now and while not totally annoying, it could possibly hinder re-sale if god forbid I should ever decide to part with my baby. Anyone know how to deal with this? Thx.

As far as I investigate, there isn't any simple way to disable the sensor because sensed current signals are all sent to the AD converters in the micro processor and compared with the value tables of voltages. When one of those current values is out of the range, the warning is set ON by the micro processor. Stopping this needs to modify the software built in the micro processor's ROM which is located inside and it can't be simply done except for those who are real hackers. It is far easier and faster to change current sensing resistors. There is no royal road to killing the sensor, I'd say.
