just replaced the ecu and although the car is back to life, I now have a cel code 31. I've tried swapping out the map sensor with a new one from auto zone, but that didn't fix my issue. The car won't rev pass 3k and prior to the ecu going out, the car ran fine. I have a afc that I will disable to see if that takes care of the issue, but I wanted to ask here and see if anyone has dealt with this issue.
The car is now running a AT soarer ecu, I've heard this is not an issue on manuals, but just in case I'll put this info out here. I also replaced the crank sensor prior to finding out the ecu was bad thinking that was the issue and before that, I changed all the plugs too.

I got the ecu from megamax here on CL and he said it worked fine in his car. I also opened the ecu and everything looked good, no leaks, but I know it can ultimately still be a bad ecu. I hoping I can find someone local that can try my ecu and map and see if they get the issue I'm having or vise versa. But I thought I would get the ball rolling and see if someone had this issue before.
