I don't know what exactly that means or how to safely measure the resistance without blowing the bag, but you could try disconnecting it and placing a 2 ohm 1/4 watt resistor on the harness side and see if that defeats the light. If it does, then you've confirmed that the issue is with the airbag, as opposed to something that went wrong during the swap.
