Not much on the aesthetics but I respect what he's done.

Less the "look at me" wing I'm okay with the look of the car since it's that purpose built. Very impressive car.

But 900whp and STOCK brakes? That's very worrying.

Finland is famous for crazy car builds like this. Especially highly modified, high boost RWD turbo-diesels for drifting.

From the article his Soarer experienced an electrical fire on one of his tail light harnesses which burned a lot of the car. That's why he built it up in the way he did with the stripped down look. He imported it with the 2JZGTE and V160 already swapped though.

The electrical fire issue makes me seriously want to look into a Halon fire suppression system front and rear.

Pretty sick. Lots of nice parts. Def time for some larger brakes though.

thanks for sharing. Overall it was very nicely and purposely executed. Will be interesting to see any further evolution/improvements of this car.

Im thinking he added the 97+ tail lights and wired in an extra bulb to stop hyperblink....and let it dangle in trunk and it got hot enough to catch the carpet or trunk liner on fire

Yikes... yet another reason not to worry about a 97 tail light conversion. I like my originals more anyway.

Is it possible that replacing the standard type bulbs with plug-n-play LED tail light bulbs might actually be safer and prevent this kind of fire? With factory tail light assemblies.

That was my guess, too. I don't know my Soarers nearly well enough to know what tails should be on that car, but I figured he likely upgraded to the '97+ ones.

^^ I think it was 1996 model year Soarers that got the last revision tail lights whereas in the US we got them in 1997 models. The other earlier mid cycle revision lights (which for us were 1995-1996 versions) I'm not sure.

That narrows it down. Any idea what year that particular car is? I don't recall seeing it mentioned.
