I got my tires mounted on the rear wheels. 255/40/18 BFG G-force comp2's
They are showing a lot more lip then i'm comfortable with. I have a set of 255/40/18 Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's mounted on my XXR's for the SC400 and they don't show as much lip. And both rims are 18x10.

I might have to buy a new set of 265/35's for this car. I will post more pics when I mount them on the car late tonight.

I have 18x10 with same tires but in 275/35/18 here is pic for reference.....

They show some of the lip as well....It should be fine...I think it is just the way the tires are

I can get you better pictures if you want....but here is an old one...best I could find that is close up

Ok, thank you. I must be the tires then, they don't have the lip protector. Good to know.
They are a great bang for your buck tire though.

hahaha, that's what im afraid of now. I'm installing my tt auto LSD that's been sitting in my basement soon, and really want to crank up the boost. I'm at 9psi now, and im on the stock HG too. I just want more boost, but a new trans is not in the budget lol

So I mounted the wheels on today, and they look great. I think I can stil fit a wider tire in the rear. I'll take better pics in the daytime and update tomorrow.

Took some quick shots this morning. Need to wash the car and polish the wheels, then I'll do a proper shoot with my SLR camera.

Looks good. I wouldn't go wider unless you got some stiff springs. By the looks of your pics, if you go wider, you're probably going to rub on bumps and dips. My 2 cents.

I think its perfect when the wheels just hardly poke, especially when the front and back are matched. Good work.

A 275 might be too wide, but a 265/35 should still fit without rubbing. Although i'd much rather have the wider tire in back.

I feel like a 265/35 should fit comfortably. The sidewall on the 255/40 is tall, so it makes it look tighter then it should be

Thanks, I feel like this fitment is spot on right now. However, I'm using the 7mm spacer in front, since my 8mm hasnt come in yet. Front will poke 1mm more so that i have more caliper clearence, so hopefully it wont rub in front. And yes, they will poke exactly even front and back

hahahaaha, don't jinx me. Yes, I bought some aftermarket locking lug nuts, but i might buy some better quality ones. I don't think state farm will want to pay out for a second set of stolen wheels lol
