If I had 20mm spacers sitting around I would have used those instead. I occasionally have issues with rubbing when I'm turning on an incline. If I'm driving aggressively I have no problems with rubbing at all.

I would highly recommend getting ARP wheel studs if you are running 10mm spacer......

Ok, so you're saying that there is definitely still room there. Good to know. Are you fenders just rolled or pulled as well?

FSUsucks has pretty much the same clearance as you do now with his 18x9 +16's up front when you calculate the poke compared to your 9.5's +22. And he says he still has a little room left too.

You guys have been a great help, I appreciate it!!!!

I'm running arp extended studs with ichiba slip on spacers on my car.

My fenders are rolled in the front and shaved in the rear. The fronts could be rolled more and the rears still have a slight edge, so i can roll and pull if needed.

I found a few more pictures that might help you too.

19x9.5 +24 235/35 rolled fronts
19x10.5 +23 265/35 shaved rears

My fenders are just rolled. They're not completely flat either. I could easily go back and flatten them even more.
Same about fenders and I also prefer the extended studs with slip on spacers....

Ok, so mine will poke a bit more in front and a tad less in rear. damn, still a bit too aggressive for me. I might have to sell the wheels and get something else

You are not even overly agressive with that but obviously you have your doubts.

Those are nice wheels and would have looked great on your car.

believe me I love the wheels. always wanted a set of stepped lip Works. im just afraid of spending $700 on tires that I cant return in case the fitment is not manageable. but i guess there is no reward unless i take risks, so maybe i should just bite the bullet and go for it.

It really comes down to how much power do you make and how much traction do you need? You can easily make the wheels fit on your car. If necessary, you could just raise your car to accommodate a larger tire.

If you're willing to never drive the car in the rain again you could just get some super sticky tires.

Well im only at 330hp and 338tq to the wheels now. But plan on cranking up the boost this spring. The car also has a TT auto diff, so i definitely need good tires for it. I want to semi-daily it in the summer, so rain will be unavoidable.

a 235/40/18 will work fine. You might rub going up driveways or over speed bumps with your wheels turned, but it's not that bad.

This is a 18x9 +12 with an oversized 245/40/18 on the front of my car (only picture I could find). It was a tight fit when aired out, but your car will never be that low.

you didn't by any chance happen to find any pics with these wheels at ride height, did you? curious to see how the fronts worked with that spec

After I posted that picture of the wheels on my car they sold a few days later, so I don't have any nice pictures of it.

I'll look through my notes to see if I documented any photos of the fitment when I get home tonight. The wheels were meant for a different build I was working on. I remember thinking they wouldn't clear my fenders if I aired out when I first saw them on the white SC, but they worked out fine. The tires on them were just too wide.

I didn't read all of the messages but I would say that's a fairly mild fitment for the stanced guys POV, but with not wanting to roll/pull and needing more meat for traction you'll need some great quality tires and in the perfect size. Good luck man, I bet it'll workout and look great.

This picture was from before fender work was done. I didn't like the 245/40/18 tires my friend mounted on the rims because they were a lot bigger than I would have liked. If these rims were for my SC I would have used 235/40/18 or 225/40/18. All that poke is from the large tire.
