Driver seat switch question/issue?
I recently picked up a 1993 SC300. LOVE the car. It needs some interior TLC, but I'm up for it. Already fixed interior and exterior passenger door handles and replaced the window regulator on that side.
But I have a question about the functioning of the driver seat switch. The long horizontal switch's rear-most function does nothing (see photo). I feel like I'm sitting a little high and would like to lower the seat height. The rear position of the seat bottom adjustment does nothing when pushed up or down. The front part of the switch adjust the angle of the seat bottom to control the height of the front of the seat. What should happen with the circled part of the switch? And, if I have a malfunction, what do you suggest?

Did you have to remove/replace the switch? If so, what did it take to accomplish? I'm assuming you provided 12v power to the motor to test it? Anybody else ever had to remove/replace/repair that switch?

The control switch unplugs and isn't terribly expensive to replace. I think my pass. one was $25. I remember using 9V battery power to test the motors, but I tried that again not too long ago and it wasn't working, so maybe I used 12V. I haven't seen anyone else report that issue with the switch.
