code 25 = Air–Fuel Ratio Lean Malfunction

is it a problem? and whats the best solution? I've searched the forum, haven't come up w solution. Lexus wants $175 for engine inspection. Shop low to read code $125

Thanks Slide it was all helpful, probably gonna save $100's. I've done some stuff, right now the light isn't on & the Bullet still runs great, but at 1/4 mill miles I'm sure stuff happens & I'll be ready

I have the same code currently on my 1995. I'm gonna start by looking for vacuum leaks. I have a few vac lines that are pretty tired.

 

Had the code before on my old sc400. It was the o2s. You can get them cheap online, either ebay or amazon. Only use densos, go on their site. Put in your car's info, take down the part # and put it on ebay. I scored mine for $35 each, oem replacement.
