Anyone know if there is any SC4 or LS400 running 11 seconds in a 1/4 mile? No engine swap, just 1UZFE N/A or FI. I know TM Engineering ran 12.30 with 175 shot of NOS. Anyone break the 11 second barrier yet?

yup. its not updated. Spoke to Todd at TMEngineering 4 days ago and we were laughing how he tried to see what the car can take how he just couldn't break it.
Like what Luthor said the 175shot NOS with mikie tompson slicks was not the best run.

Luthor: how are your cars comming? You comming to track day or what?

Corrected for the almost 100 degree temp that day and the extremely lame altitude at Palmdale/LACR, it was around 11.80/116-117. This is actually a valid correction to compare to normal temps and non-thousands of feet altitude tracks. Note that forced induction has less correction factor for altitude. This calculates out to around 500hp with that mph.

There's no doubt at Pomona on a normal 70-80 degree day it would have easily ran that or better since the track conditions at Pomona are a lot nicer as well. This was with zero tuning too, there was probably another 2 or 3 tenths there with timing and jet changes...but that wasn't the point of the exercise

Lex is correct, just nitrous and slicks for that...pretty impressive on Lexus' part!

Hah oh yes gotta get some sympathy and excuses for my slow times somehow

Yeah everyone watch out Jeff's car is pretty monstrous...definitely one of them "little ol 6 cylinders" that will bite you if you're not careful

I think he had more problems than I did with breaking driveshafts and axles, probably due to the manual transmission that wasn't able to preload the way an automatic can. Definitely a lot more violent with 5000 rpm and a sidestepped clutch!
