To the guys that ordered and installed the Leather Kits from Custom Factory Interiors, http://www.leatherseats.com, What was your experience with the quality, longevity and overall experience with the kits? Is it as well made as OEM?
How are they holding up?
Would you do it again, or go to a custom shop and spend more money for a custom job?

I couldn't be more pleased with mine. They have a variety of colors. I have the standard taupe interior, and wanted a darker color leather so as to not show dirt... Found a color that matched perfectly with the darker lexus trim on the upper door panels, so it looks like it came from the factory. I believe I was the first to encourage these guys to go ahead and make up the patterns for the headrests as well as the center arm rest (first thing to go with my orig leather).

I've had my set for almost 2 years now, still looks and smells like new. The fit is easily as good as the factory, and indistinguishable. I wouldn't think the average home mechanic could actually install these on the seats himself... I paid a local upholsterer to install them (almost $600 just for the installation), but, at only $800 or so for the leather, I still feel it was an unbeatable deal. When this set wears out, I'll just order another!
