Default HVAC control unit help

1992 SC 400

I swapped out the HVAC control unit. The new unit acted like it was not receiving power. I checked the fuses (checked OK), still nothing. Reinstalled the old unit, it too acts like there is no power.

Any suggestions on what to look for will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Not sure what to look for if not fuses, but was the old unit power-less prior to being replaced? If it powered up before, then something must have changed... Did one of the plugs get damaged in removal? They put up quite a fight sometimes.

Thanks for the reply.

The plugs came out OK, I was careful to pull by the plug, not the wires, and a visual inspection of the pins looked OK.

There are 2 fuses in the driver's side kick panel, anyone know if I missed one?

Thanks again!
