Passenger Door gets caught on fender
So, lately i've noticed that the passenger door gets caught under the fender making it not open all the way. To get it open, I'd have to push up on the fender. Thus far, Ive tighten the top fender bolt behind the rubber piece. Do you guys think its the bolts that are not tighten or if the fender is to stretched out that I need to replace it? Anybody have this problem?

its a sagging door hinge.
if you feel the weight of the door its ~80 lbs or so
you might not be able to see it but sometimes the metal can get fatigued and start to bend over time.
only way to fix it is to replace the door hinge.

Hmm that works, I just bought an SC with no motor but has good parts. Currently, my passenger door doesn't open bc of the actuator for the outside door handle. So, hopefully when i switch it out, it'll solve my problem?

Yeah its starting to get really annoying. I look really stupid pushing up on the fender while opening the door. The hinges aren't really sagging so i think its the fender bc of all the times ive stretched it out. Thanks for the input guys

this happened to my last sc400 and it got REALLY bad, it eventually caused a dent in my front passenger fender after it got cought one day on the door.
It is the fender that needed to move in my case not the door.
This usually happens from improperly jacking the car.
