Default '92 Five Speed Value?

154,000 bone stock. Never seen winter. A few bumps on passenger side. Strong clutch. AC 'control unit needs a rebuild but rest of the system fine. Reportedly very rare no sunroof model.
Not leather but interior with no issues. Boston location.

It's hard to place a price on something that is considered rare. Where are the "few bumps"??? Show us some pictures of the entire car. There are about 4K Manual SC3's. Basically 13% of them. Even less of those are hard tops SC's though. There are even less people looking to restore these cars these days however...

OEM 5 speed, velour, and hardtop.

Going by the threads here that's a rare combination....
but it is a 92 so naturally even with these options it'll be worth less than later year 5 speeds.

Best to be used to build a race car with that OEM hardtop 5 speed combo.

These are a cheaper way to build a supra, and i see many many people doing it because of the amazing v160s just bolt right up, silly to think less people restore these
I would love to see some pics of this car.

Page 2 of the Lexus.com website says 1,601 SC300 5-speed manual transmission vehicles were built in 1992.
Obviously a very small number built and a unique vehicle to own. It's a great conversation piece if nothing else.

Depending on mileage and condition on a 92 SC300 5spd, 2500 up to 4000 would be a fair price range

I foresee an eBay bidding war in the near future.

It's certainly rare enough. 92 hardtop 5-speeds are also the lightest models produced IIRC.

Total SC300 5-speeds numbered 3,883 exactly for the USA. OP, if you're interested and it's in relatively good shape I'd pick it up.

I don't know how much less the hardtop weighs compared to a sunroof car but the 92 5-speeds dip just below 3500lbs dry wt. Lightest SC you can get without ripping stuff off.

I may consider it.... I have bounced around the idea of a 92 hard top stripped out, VVTI 2JZ, a cast manifold with S360 and maybe even a QSV for road course use. The longer wheelbase over a Supra would help very much with stability.

there is no testing the waters or gauging interest in the main forum.
When you are ready to sell your car put it in the LEXUS VEHICLE CLASSIFIEDS and post a price.
