I bought some blanks to get cut by one of two local locksmith. The first refused to cut anything but their own blanks and the second was willing to but charged $45 per key, but agreed to $37.50 per since they had told me "a couple bucks" over the phone. That was quite a surprise after having both keys cut and being told it's $90... I imagine a Lexus dealership would refuse to cut your own blanks, like the first locksmith, or charge even more than the second.

Just buy from one of the sellers that claims to be able to ship you a cut key with proof of ownership. (I probably have a link saved and can PM it to you if needed.) I didn't have the title in my name yet, so I couldn't go that route at the time.

I got charged 35$ a key at my local dealer.

They cut it with a master key cut as well.

Wow, you're lucky. The nearest dealer to me said $90 per key.

i'll try contacting a dealer, my dad is good friends with a guy at a toyota dealer so maybe he'll be able to help me out. but it seems like i'll have to drop at least 40 bucks on just one key, bummer.
