Default ac compressor bypass

So my ac compressor just went out yesterday along with my power steering pump and was thinking of just bypassing the ac compressor and only replacing the power steering pump and serpentine belt. I seen a post on a supra forum that said I would need a serpentine belt from a 2000 audi a4 to bypass the ac compressor and looking at the engine it seems like the ac clutch will still be in the way. My question is, can I just remove the clutch so its not in the way or do I have to remove the whole compressor? I would leave it alone but even with the ac turned off its always making alot of rattling sounds

I used a Gates K060735 belt when I deleted my AC. The compressor might interfere, but i would get the belt first and see, and then remove the AC clutch if needed.

Thanks man, where did you order that belt from?

Edit: Ok so I removed the 10mm bolt on tje front of the pulley and removed the plate that it was holdung in, but now im not ssurehow to go by removing the clutch,do I need a special tool for that or could it just be stuck from all that gunk/oil/rust thats on it?

I bought mine from ebay for $20 shipped, and another from rock auto searching under the audi but you can get them locally for $25-$30. It is from the 2000 Audi A4 2.8 v6.

I dont think you need a tool, just some snap ring pliers maybe! here is an exploded view of the AC compressor.

Yeah man finally figured that out this morning, was fighting the damn thing all day yesterday trying to remove it with no luck haha
removed both snaprings this morning and the pulley easily came out with the puller

Heres a pic of the damaged pulley once I got it off
you can see how the inner ring got jacked up (the picture was taken from right above the pulley so you can see how the ring is no longer in the center of the pulley, along with alot of those metal bearings missing or jammed between part #88301 and 88302)

And heres a pic of the belt installed with ac clutch off

the belt i bought was from oreillyauto a gates Part # K060739 from a 2000 audi a4 2.8l which is 1/2" longer than the gates Part # K060735 but it seems to fit nicely on it regardless. havent noticed any slipping either.

I am in Fairfield outside Travis AFB. I have an extra compressor for sell. It was working when I pulled it. Give you a good deal on it.
