my window regulator broke over the weekend. there's this white plastic piece that slides up and down on this grey vertical piece, that broke. there is no connection between the glass and the motor cable, so it wouldn't stay up. did any body tried to replace this assembly on their own? is it hard to fix?

 

That same thing happened to me. I didn't feel like messing with it, so I took it in to the dealer. They charged like $95 to fix it. Not the answer you were looking for, but at least you now know the worst case scenario...

 

What side do you need. I have the regulator.
