Default headlight issue

1995 Lexus sc400 w/ HID kit, randomly my headlights started staying on and eventually killed my battery. I have removed the fuses and tried replacing them with bigger ones, didn't work. So now I have removed both fuses in hopes of finding a solution before I have to drive somewhere at night. I've done some research on google but all I can pull up is people who have had their dash lights stay on and that's not the problem for me.

recap:
95 sc w/ hid kit
hids installed properly and have been working for about 6 months now
suddenly my headlights stay on after key is out of ignition and doors are all closed and locked.

does/has anyone else have this problem?

Can you not turn them off manually? Have you checked your wiring? Can you post pics up of your connections?

I can't turn them off other then pulling the fuses. My connections are all good and tight.

Since the HID is aftermarket, please post some details ,,, like does it have a relay?

If it does have relay, maybe the relay points are stuck ,,, giving you constant ON.

They do not have relays, it runs off the normal car harness, I just had to plug in their adapter harness and ballasts to get the lights to work.
I'm positive it's not the hid kit.
I removed my headlight relay so maybe it is bad, I'll get another one and see how it works.
If that doesn't fix it, then I'll be back.

I got a new relay, thinking that the old one was staying open, problem NOT fixed. something is keeping the headlights on.

I put it in auto, the headlights don't come on during the day, but I turn it to the ON position for the lights and they stay on even if I put it in OFF.

WTF IS GOING ON!!!!!!

haha, if anyone has any insight as to the problem, I'd be happy to hear.

Would you know how I could do that? I started, but it's constructed really weird like. I don't know where the wires end and it seems like I have to take apart my entire steering column just to get it done. Is it actually IN the signal lever or would it be a separate unit? thanks btw.

So I replaced the switch and the problem isn't fixed. If any one has any more ideas then I'm open to suggestions.

Hahahaha, that's good.

OP, I genuinely have no clue what could be wrong.

At this point I'd just insert my DMM into the wire at different points when the switch is on, and then when it's off to see if I can isolate where something wrong is happening.

So I think we may have finally found out what's wrong. I think it's the integrated relay, the one behind the cabin fusebox. My friend (he's the electrical guy, not me) spent a couple hours on it and all signs point to the relay. I've ordered one from a member on here and it should be here by the end of the week. If it works, an update and solution will follow.
