Camber Kit Correction
Anyone with the Eibach springs for the Supra in their SC's with a 1.3 inch drop on the front and 1 inch drop on the back have problems with a camber kit correction after aligning the car? Do the tires wear normally? Thanks
markie4,
I think some people can shim the heck out of it. This gets the car into "spec". What spec they are using is beyond me. After 1" of drop you have to yank the stock camber plates to the very edge for the car to be squared up. So at 1.3" you could shim it a little farther or elongate the alignment holes to turn it another couple of degrees but not much.
For example, I take my car to a very old school alignment shop. All they do is alignment. They own NO COMPUTERS. They do it with oldschool measurements and chalklines...etc. They adjusted my car after I used the SC300 Eibach Lowering Kit and they said that with the factory setup I am in line but at the outside edge of the adjustment capabilities of the car. Here is a pic

One shop told me that if I use the SC300 Eibach springs, then the car could be pulled back into factory specs. I guess that the 1 inch drop all around isnt really that aggressive, and I wanted to go for the extra .3 inch drop in the front. But I am worried about not getting the car back into factory specs because of the uneven tire wear.
