Default Where do I put stands when jacking up car????

What's up guys,

I was about to jack up my car and put the stands under the car when i realized I had no idea where the go under the lexus. So, If anybody can tell me where to put these stands without causing damage I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Owners manual is pretty explicit on where to jack the car up. This is normally where you would put the jack stands. Stands are made to safely catch the car if the jack fails. If you have two, I would choose a point where the subframe attaches to the body.

Default jack stands

I always position a floor jack under the front cross member (just at rear of engine), then position a jack stand underneath the pivot point of the lower suspension arm (inboard) on each side.

Jack stands can fail too! I never get under the car without both the floor jack AND the jack stands firmly in place.

good luck!
