Got to spend a few hours under the car this weekend doing various things and need to get the whole car off the ground for a while. For those of you who have "elevated" with jack stands....where is the safest placement? Sad things is I own a lift but my garage ceiling isn't high enough to install....LOL.

 

dude!! brace the rafters on the ends and cut them out. and get a beam put at the top. jack stands... put them on the front and rear subframes...

 

Place 12" long 2x4's on each jackstand between the corners of the frame rails and the jackstands on each corner. This will hold up you car and not crush the floor pan. I know as my car has been like that for a year now.
