Default floor jack and jack stand

Hello,
Ive seen a million threads on this topic, and I have read a million different places to put my jack stands. The one place that I have put them that has successfully worked is the one place that nobody has confirmed, so I am nervous about using them.

Its a 1993

those long strips/boxes of sheetmetal that run front to back are weak and have no good spot to put stands under.

I have put the jack under the differential and it moves up and then when it stops moving, the car jacks up, but Im not sure that it is strong enough for the car.

the rear crossmember started (where the 3 diff bolt mounts are) started to flex when the jack was under it so it immediately stopped

then I found these two spots to put the jacks that seem to be very thick that seem to work fairly well. (in the picture)

Good lift points are the front tow hooks and differential, that is if you jack will lift high enough. Use the control arm pivots as floor jack locations for the front. For the rear, the second image you attached will do just fine, place the floor jack between the pinch weld and the hole for both sides.

ok, thanks for the help, the jack can go pretty high, high enough to get the stands under the position in picture #2 with the jacks all the way down. glad to hear that the differential is strong enough, because I did jack it up on the diff. I will try again and make sure I can get it up as high as I need to.
